At the risk of sounding sentimental, I cannot believe the year is drawing to a close! We have so much to do in advance of 2020. Many projects are in the works at TechOWL, such as webinars and trainings, to support AAC users across the Keystone State.

ACES 2020 will be here in the swish of an owl’s wings.  We are now accepting applications for both participants and volunteers.  ACES information can be found at the following link:

AAC Meet Ups

You don’t have to wait for July to become part of the AAC Community here at Temple.  We have chosen the dates for our AAC Meet Ups for the next six months. These meet ups provide a chance for AAC users, families, and anyone interested in learning more about AAC, to gather at TechOWL. There is no set agenda for these get-togethers.  Come with questions, leave with new friends. Or just come for the cookies, it’s all good!

We will meet at 4:00 on the following dates:

  • January 14th
  • February 12th
  • March 10th
  • April 14th
  • May 5th
  • June 16th

Interested, but don’t yet have a communication system?  Consider borrowing from the Assistive Technology Lending Library.  It is all online and the device is shipped to you, anywhere in Pennsylvania. Here is the link:
