International AAC Awareness Month

BREATHE AAC poster

This October, let us unite in our efforts to ensure that access to communication and AAC is seen not just as a luxury, but a human right.  You can download a copy of the Communication Bill of Rights from the National Joint Committee for the Communication Needs of Persons with Severe Disabilities:

Pat Mirenda, researcher and author, reminds us that access to communication has only one prerequisite; breathing. Copy of Breathing poster.
